One of our most remarkable discoveries has quickly become a customer favorite from our palette of laminates. Most all tree bark has outer and inner layers. While harvesting Fire Cherry bark, we had only targeted the outer surface layer. While we were separating this from the inner bark, we were stunned to discover the vivid lime green color beneath. While we knew this would fade when kiln dried, we were still thrilled with the subtle hint of green that remains. Upon observation you will also see the lenticel patterns are intact with random shading of reddish brown splotches from drying. You may even spot parallel lines of scratches from our hands forcing the layers apart.
