Exclusively designed and created at Bark House, Birch Bark Wall Coverings bring a world of nature to your interior space. Lavishly textured natural tones can be integrated in small and large rooms to create a dramatic effect. We’ve taken papery thin pieces of birch bark and laminated them to a substrate for ease of installation.

| What are… | Bark House® White Birch Wall Coverings are monolithic panels, hand crafted by laminating white birch (Betula papyrifera) tree bark to a specified substrate for ease of installation. Each panel is uniquely crafted with natural bark so no two are ever completely alike. A distinguishing characteristic is the white background of the bark with the black streaks or lenticels. The papery thin material supports our craftsmen to weave smaller pieces of bark into a continuous tapestry that looks natural. We can also provide feathering of the material over the panel edges so that seams will disappear between panels on installation. All bark wallcoverings were originally designed and created by Marty McCurry. | Bark House® Birch Leather Wall coverings are monolithic panels created to utilize the second layer of white birch (Betula papyrifera) bark. This inner layer of the bark has some of the lichens and scarring of the powdery white outer layer but is a faint brown tone and has the look and feel of suede leather. These wall coverings are handcrafted and do not include the option of feathering the edges of individual panels. All bark wall panels were originally designed and created by Marty McCurry. | Bark House® Gold Birch Wall Coverings are monolithic panels hand crafted with the bark of yellow birch trees (Betula alleghaniensis). This bark is a luminescent gold tone with fringed edges that creates an abundance of texture and depth. The characteristic of the curled fringes supports our craftsmen to weave smaller pieces of bark into a continuous tapestry that looks natural. We can also provide feathering of the material over the panel edges so that seams will disappear between panels on installation.
