Poplar Pole Panels have a maximum length in the direction of the pole length of 10′. We can cut pole length to any length, less than 10′. There is a maximum individual panel square foot size of 12 square feet. Poplar Pole diameters range from 1 1/2″ to 3 1/2″.
A fascinating glimpse into forest life is to watch the transformation of a clearing to a climax forest. Too slow a process for most to notice, but we do. Whether by selective cutting or natural die off, Appalachian forest clearings are quickly reclaimed by young seedlings or sucker sprouts. These rapidly grow and compete, ever fighting to out pace its neighbor for survival. Ultimately, the majority of these saplings die off as the strongest push the smaller ones out. We notice and harvest the smaller poles before they’re gone. They are generally uniform and consistently straight, thus giving us the opportunity to create this stunning organic texture.
Whether for wall and ceiling coverings, tree branch wall art pieces, or inserts of interest we will custom build these twig wall panels to fit your unique design.
This tree branch wall art is 100% sourced and made in the US. Bark House® invests over 50% of its income directly back into our local Appalachian economy. See what makes us Authentically good…
*Important Note about Single Surface Lamination* Any substrate that has a bark veneer or 3D wood attachment has the capacity to warp or cup. We do not recommend that panels “float” as in cabinet door applications without an additional back side lamination to balance it out. This may be achieved by laminating our bark treatment to both sides or by laminating a separate finish wood veneer.
There is no concern with single surface lamination when panels are affixed to studs or wall surfaces per our installation guide.
Recycling Centers are available in every county in each state across the country. We’ll help you to identify the closest Recycling Center in your area that has Demolition and Construction Recycling Infrastructure. This decreases general landfill waste and improves the environment.
Simply mulch untreated BARK HOUSE® POPLAR PRODUCTS and allow them to add biological nutrients back in the soil.
